Everyone loves a great motivational talk, something that re-energizes you and can give new direction and insight. Sometimes we often get so stuck into our daily routines that we pass up opportunities for learning or bypass new ideas in favor of old habits. Being able to work smarter in a professional environment is always a good skill to have. We have found a playlist of 11 TED talks about working smarter that are relatively short but offer wonderful insight.

These talks offer unconventional, and uncommonly useful, advice on leading, working and making the most of each day. – TED

The talks cover topics such as how to be more productive, being a leader, running meetings and simplification of work and success. David Logan discusses the types of tribal teams that form in the workplace and how to better ourselves through the understanding of the these tribal habits. Nilofer Merchant offers insight into how a one-on-one meeting can be more beneficial if you walk and talk and David Grady discusses how to improve meetings all together.
