All alumni are invited to regional events planned beginning in August to welcome graduates of the Class of 2016 to the alumni family.
These casual “welcome to the city” events are designed to help alumni, especially alumni new to the area, identify other alums who live in the area, meet their local alumni network and get some information about their city and how to stay involved with Longwood.
In addition to 2016 graduates and new-to-the-city graduates, these events are also geared to alumni who have been active with the Longwood Network, those looking for new professional opportunities, those interested in creating opportunities to hire Lancers and those wishing to reconnect with Longwood.
Events will be held in Richmond, Hampton Roads and Northern Virginia. Additional locations are being considered. Information about dates and locations is available at www.longwood.edu/alumni.
