The town offers a multitude of restaurants, shops, cultural centers and recreational activities. Noted on this map are just a few of downtown’s many destinations, including places where you can get a delicious meal, visit a business owned by a Longwood alum, buy Longwood apparel or prepare for an outdoor adventure.
One must-see is the historic High Bridge Trail, which is accessible right off Main Street. The trail and several locations in Farmville served as the backdrop for the waning days of the Civil War.
