Longwood Alumni Day with the Washington Nationals will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at Nationals Park. Bring your entire family and enjoy special Longwood alumni seating, great deals on food and drinks, and more. The Nationals, champs of the Eastern Division of the National League (NL) in 2014, will take on the St. Louis Cardinals, winners of the NL’s Central Division last year. Longwood Alumni Night with the Richmond Flying Squirrels is set for 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at The Diamond. Plans include an all you- can-eat pregame family picnic at the Squirrels party pavilion with cornhole, other games and Lancer giveaways; special priority seating; possible photos with Lancer and Squirrels mascots, and, after the game, one of minor league baseball’s best fireworks shows.
The Squirrels, the Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, are known for their fan-friendly activities at home games.
